About me!
Hi I am Alyssa Rideout, I am a sophmore at penn state university studying public relations and graphic design. but my true passion falls in creating art, specifically through the painting medium.
growing up I always loved painting, and always dressed up as an "artist" for my job fairs in elementary school. but unfortunately i stopped for a while due to the whirlwind of high school. but thankfully in the summer of 2024 i started creating again! I began with personal pieces then decided to start selling small acrylic canvas art as well for sorority members at penn state.
my parents and sister have always been my biggest supporters & inspirations. especially as i began painting again and considering selling my work -- they've supported me every step of the way. Whether that meant buying me new art supplies, coming to art shows, or constantly reassuring me.
